At System Transport, we take our CSR policy very seriously, and always have. It is important to us to take responsibility whenever possible. For instance, we do this when sorting our plastic and cardboard as part of our environmental responsibility. We have chosen to continuously work on 3 areas: our responsibility for employees, our corporate social responsibility and our environmental responsibility.

Responsibility for employees

At System Transport, we take our responsibility toward our employees very seriously. In our daily operations, we maintain a strong focus on our corporate values and ensuring they are put into practice. We have a well-being committee that makes a significant effort every year to promote employee satisfaction and job fulfillment.

We prioritize our employees highly and maintain an ongoing focus on further education for all staff. Among other initiatives, we have established our own training program, the System Transport Academy. Here, our employees receive training in areas such as AGILE project management, finance, projects, logistics, and sales to strengthen professional competencies across the organization.

At System Transport, we have chosen to place great importance on the social aspect to strengthen collaboration, efficiency, community, communication, and, not least, job satisfaction. Therefore, we have staff associations at our various locations that regularly arrange activities for staff and their families to support good colleagueship and a positive working environment.

We have defibrillators (AEDs) installed at all our locations, as well as employees trained in their use. Every minute counts when someone suffers a cardiac arrest. The chance of survival decreases by approximately 10% for every minute that passes without treatment. Therefore, a rapid response is of vital importance.

We want our employees to feel safe when they are at work, and one of the ways we can help with this is by having defibrillators at all our locations, ensuring that help is always nearby. Furthermore, we offer the possibility of individual terms to ensure a healthy work-life balance, as well as special conditions for seniors who wish to remain in the labor market longer.

Our employees is one of our biggest priories and in 2022 we had a big focus on extra training and education for all employees. In Poland we have started a training program, System Transport Academy Poland. Here, our employees receive training and education in AGILE project management, financing, projects, logistics and sales, twice a month.

In System Transport we feel it’s a great importance to feed our social aspect, in order to strengthen cooperation, efficiency, community, communication and not least, job satisfaction. We therefore have staff associations at our various locations, which regularly organize activities for the staff and their families, to support good collegiality and work environment.

We also have defibrillators set up on all our locations, and employees trained in them. Every minute counts when a person has a cardiac arrest. We want our employees to feel safe when they are at work, and one of the ways we can help with this is to have defibrillators at all our locations and ensure that help is always nearby.

There is also the possibility of individual work terms, so that work and private life are balanced, and for seniors who want to stay longer on the work market, on special terms.

Corporate social responsibility

At System Transport, everyone is welcome. To us, it makes no difference if you have special needs, we will help and guide you to find the strength within as an individual and give you space to find your special skills. Among other things, this has resulted in us winning the Company Award from the municipality of Lejre.

  • This company paves the way for immigrants in ordinary jobs, wage subsidy jobs and internships. In other words, this company has helped determine the motivation and ability to work of a significant number of citizens.

Environmental responsibility

At System Transport, we care about the world around us, and sustainability is an integrated part of our business.

As part of an industry with a significant climate footprint, we see it as our duty to be at the forefront and contribute to the green transition. Among other things, a considerable amount of packaging is used, and although we try to reduce consumption as much as possible (for instance, by transporting our hanging garments directly in garment trailers), waste materials still occur. We have therefore established a partnership with Stena Recycling, which regularly collects both cardboard and plastic for recycling. Our state-of-the-art warehouse and logistics facilities in Vejle are built with a focus on ESG initiatives. The building is equipped with a system for recycling rainwater in the toilets, energy-efficient heat pumps, and an integrated solar cell system that makes the building partially self-sufficient with electricity. Furthermore, the building is certified to DGNB Silver.

At System Transport, we are also GOTS certified, which is recognized as the world’s leading certification for the environmental labeling of clothing and textiles. You can read much more about this here.

We operate exclusively with the latest Euro 6 engine technologies across our entire fleet of trucks to contribute as much as possible to the green transition of the transport industry. We take pride in this. At the same time, we have a strong focus on employee behavior, and we want both our transport divisions and our logistics centers to be as efficient as possible in our efforts to reduce our CO2 footprint.

We conduct ongoing coaching sessions with employees regarding correct and environmentally friendly behavior for the benefit of the environment. Drivers are taught, among other things, to completely eliminate idling and to use the weight of the truck and the cargo to coast towards roundabouts and curves, thereby driving emission-free for as long as possible.

We wish to help solve the global climate challenge regarding CO2 emissions and can, through our advanced fleet management system, monitor CO2 emissions per km / per ton of goods moved across all our trucks.

At our location in Roskilde, we use only green electricity. Our goal is to get as many of our locations on green electricity as possible within the next few years.

At System Transport, we are also GOTS certified, which is recognized as the world’s leading certification when it comes to environmental labeling of clothing and textiles. You can read more about that, under our GOTS certification page.

We drive exclusively with the latest Euro 6 engine technologies on all our trucks, to contribute as much as possible to the green transformation of the transport industry. We are very proud of that.

At the same time, we have a strong focus on employee behavior, and we want both our transport divisions and our logistic centers to be as efficient as possible in efforts to reduce our CO2 footprint. We have regular coaching with employees about correct and environmentally friendly behavior for the benefit of the environment.

Among other things, drivers are taught how to completely eliminate idling on the trucks and use the weight of the truck and the goods to roll up to 1 kilometers forward towards roundabouts and curves in order to drive 100% emission-free for as long distances as possible.

We want to help solve the global climate challenge around CO2 emissions, and can among other things, via our extended fleet management on our equipment, keep an eye on CO2 emissions pr. Km/ pr. Tons of goods moved on all our trucks.
